Frankincense and Myrrh Organic Eau de Parfum

Wow! This fragrance is wonderfully mystical and timeless! It only lasts a few hours on my skin, but I am happy to reapply as it is so beautiful and healthy to wear. Haoma were really helpful in answering my questions and making sure I received my order on time too. Lovely people to deal with.

Woody/earthy aroma

Being an outdoor and yoga enthusiast, this scent feels natural and pleasant. I suppose that this and the other scent's (except No:1) don't last very long is due to it being very natural unlike mass productions in the market. Just spray every 2hrs or so. Very nice.

Chrissy, thank you so much. Glad you like this perfume. You are absolutely right, essential oils will not last as long as synthetic perfumes. Our No 1 and Ylang Ylang perfumes are the longest-lasting ones. Depending on the skin type some customers report that this Frankincense & Myrrh perfume can be a very long-lasting scent on their skin.

Doesn’t live up to the ‘Hype’ of other reviews for me.

After reading the amazing reviews the hype didn’t really transcend. I’m not really sure what fragrance they were reviewing? It last for about 10 mins and that’s me being generous, no one smells it on me either. I’m so glad I got in on discount otherwise I would have sent it back. it is a natural fragrance and it does last as long as another popular British natural brand (Ron’s garden). It is a nice fragrance plus it doesn’t have all the junk, so that is a plus, I’m sure it has taken some time to formulate, so I can appreciate that but in the same sense I could have just purchased a quality frankincense essential oil and that would have done the same job; plus more use with other blends. I now use mine as a home fragrance, pillow mist, I leave the room come back and it’s gone. But of course there are other amazing ‘it’s so long lasting and rich’ reviews, so?? The acid and alkaline of the skin does make a big difference. blind buying fragrance is always tricky, just annoying when it doesn’t pay off, at such an expense. I was so annoyed I wasn’t even going to write a review but that’s unfair to someone else who like me has seen the 5 stars ‘it’s so amazing’ and buys of the positives are that the bottle is cute and the package it came in was a very nice touch.

Jnana, thank you so much for your balanced review where you mentioned all the positives as well. You are absolutely right in saying this perfume absolutely does not contain anything synthetic. Another key point with Haoma formulations is that our products do not contain any emulsifiers as we find them to be unnecessary and potentially detrimental to our health. This means all our products have to be shaken before. This might come unnatural with perfumes but our products do separate between uses so it is vital to shake them before application. We included this on our labels to make sure people can benefit from the full effect of the product. This actually is one of our longest lasting perfumes so I am certain once you give it a good shake before use, it will last up to 10 hours on your skin. Would love to hear how you get on once you do this.

Stunned at this perfume, it’s hypnotic, mesmerising, I sit sniffing it all the time. It’s just so woody, you can smell the resin, it’s literally mystical. I love woody based perfumes which aren’t totally masculine. I struggle as I love Oud but I wanted a different smell and love Frankincense and Myrhh but all the perfumes containing those two are extortionate. This smells gorgeous and reasonable. Please never discontinue it and please do a rose and oud too.

Thank you so much for liking our Organic Frankincense & Myrrh Eau de Parfum. Please do not worry, we have no plans of discontinuing it in the near future, it is one of our most popular items. It is extremely hard to source certified organic Myrrh so due to the quality of ingredients, this particular perfume is the most expensive to produce. We always aim to be affordable here at Haoma whilst educating about completely natural scents. It is extremely common in the industry to use fragrance oils and perfumes which are produced synthetically. Consumers in the current market are simply not used to perfumes that are produced with 100% essential oils.
We have long wanted to introduce a rose perfume however the cost of organic rose essential oil would make it impossible for us to sell it in our current pricing model. Oud, on the other hand, is almost always synthetic. Oud scent we use would have to come from certified organic agarwood essential oil to be compliant with our principles. This essential oil is probably the most expensive oil in the world where prices for this as a raw material can reach around £80k per kilogram. We are certainly looking to develop more perfumes for these most cherished fragrances and offer completely natural and nonsynthetic solutions for people that will really appreciate them. We might have to create a separate line and explain the differences in the prices due to the costs. Once again we really appreciate your lovely feedback so and happy to have you in our growing Haoma family.
