Shipping policy
All items are made by hand after the customer places an order. We always aim to dispatch items on the same day or the next day however please note that items can take up to 3 working days to be dispatched. Dispatch during sales and promotional periods will be within 7 working days but we always aim to dispatch sooner. Please get in touch if you would like to know your exact dispatch date.
Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and certain postcodes - standard delivery may be charged at different rates. Please get in touch with us.
UK FREE STANDARD DELIVERY - ROYAL MAIL TRACKED 48
Delivery on all orders over £70 is free and the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service is used. You can upgrade your delivery by choosing other services and shipping companies.
Orders under £70 are charged at various rates below:
Evri 2-3 Day Delivery: £4.50
Evri 1-2 Day Delivery: £5.00
Royal Mail Tracked 48: £5.50
Royal Mail Tracked 24: £5.99
DPD Next Day: £6.99
UK EXPRESS
Orders placed before 12pm Monday to Thursday will arrive on the next working day before 5.30pm, except certain postcodes. Not including Saturday or Sunday. Orders placed after noon on a Friday will arrive on the following Monday. Excluding Bank Holidays. Excluding the Channel Islands.
UK EXPRESS SATURDAY DELIVERY
Orders placed before 12pm on Friday will arrive on the following Saturday before 5.30pm, except certain postcodes. Excluding Bank Holidays. There are no deliveries on Sunday. Excluding the Channel Islands.
LOCAL COLLECTION
FREE
Your reserved item will be held at our premises locally in Herne Bay for collection. Please place your order on the website and we can ensure it is ready for you to come in and collect. Please make sure you choose 'Collect by hand' at checkout to avoid a delivery charge, and let us know when you would like to collect your order in the special instructions box.
Delayed Deliveries
Even though delayed deliveries are rare, they might happen. For this reason, only our Express Delivery option (which uses Royal Mail Special Delivery) includes a guaranteed delivery window and eligibility for a refund if they miss it.
If you must have your parcel with a refund guarantee, please choose Express Delivery at checkout.
Missed Deliveries
You should reschedule your delivery or change the address if you are unable to receive your parcel. Delivery companies usually reattempt to deliver the parcel multiple times and send texts, e-mails, and leaves 'attempted delivery cards' to rearrange the delivery.
Your parcel will be sent back to us if you fail to rearrange your delivery after these attempts. We will then have to pay a charge to the delivery company for each returned item that is sent back to us.
You will have two options at this stage:
If you would like a refund: You are required to pay the returned item charge first. This means this charge and the original delivery fee will be deducted from your total refund amount.
If you still want your item and would like to arrange another delivery: You will be required to pay another delivery fee and pay for the returned item charge.
